How to cure the virus?

I've hatched the sea emperor's egg's and don't know what to do now. My son had me collect all the enzyme produced but I can not eat it to cure myself. I didn't interact with her children. Any suggestions on how to cure my self?

The children will drop kind of pinkish golden balls. Touch the wobbly balls, and that'll cure you.

It still says I'm infected with a self scan. I've collected a bunch of the enzyme balls. I can't interact with them though.

It's not supposed to let you pick them up, it's supposed to interact with them instead. Does the problem persist after save/reload?

It's possible there's a bugged file in your download, is there a way to verify the files?

Yep it's still there after save or reload. I have a wall storage almost full of the enzyme. I tried the debug code to uninfect myself and it didn't work either.

...How old is your save game? Did you start a new game when the update hit or was it one you already had?

I didn't start my game till after the update.

Uninstall / reinstall unless you know how to get Xbox to verify game install files' integrity.

Thanks for the advice. I may try it eventually. We live in the country with reallllllly slow internet. It took 4 days to download it last time.

There's 2 commands to cure, did you try both?

cure [#] (cures the player and creatures within a range)
playerinfection 5

Apparently you can teleport to where the young emperors went, see if their enzymes work:
goto juvenileemperor [number from 1-5]

The cure command did not work. Teleporting to the much larger babies did not work. Finally had success, playerinfection 5 finally did work.

Awesome, are you able to power down the QEP? If not, there's another code to force you to be able to launch, even without disabling it.
